Creativity. Diversity. Sustainability.

Mission

At Green Film Productions we produce creative content and care for our earth at the same time. We work with a diverse range of writers, directors and producers and focus on the voices that need to be heard. We are committed to diversity both on and off screen and to making our projects in a responsible way. Our aim is to tell important and diverse stories, but not pollute the earth in the process.

We make our films carbon neutral by implementing sustainability practices throughout the whole production process and by offsetting the rest.

We have set up a grove at Trees for Life, a conservation charity that is dedicated to rewilding the Scottish Highlands and will be planting trees for each production. You can check out our grove in the Caledonian Forest here.

On our website you can find more information about our team and our projects. Under sustainability you can find blogs with tips and interviews with other filmmakers. You will also find links to websites with more information about making your film green.

Sustainable filmmaking is about collaboration and sharing knowledge. There is no competition involved when it comes to being green and we hope we can all make a positive change.

Our newest project is the web series Girls With Capes - which will consist of diverse stories made by a mostly female collective of filmmakers to empower young girls and women. Find out more here
